String Inverters 

Inverters are as integral to the solar PV system as the PV modules. Solar PV modules produce direct current electricity. The PV inverters transform this direct current into alternating current in order to match the existing electrical system. We prefer string inverters, which accommodate strings of modules, to micro-inverters that can only serve one or two modules. Additionally, servicing micro-inverters requires removing the PV modules, whereas string inverters are mounted in readily accessible locations and are easily maintained since fewer are required.
